Ms US Ambassador Marie Waldrep, is an Author, Advocate, and Media Marketing Creator FoRe! those who choose ''Living Royal'' as a lifestyle. A survivor of incest, childhood sexual assault, rape and domestic violence. She created a web site called The Mighty Phoenix with helpful information for other survivors. It is Marie’s desire to help other victim/survivors of all forms of sexual assault, other forms of abuse and sexual misconduct. She also has a desire to be devoted to and improving victims’ rights and criminal justice.
Due to Marie’s own personal experience with incest and childhood sexual assault she felt compelled to write a book of poems expressing her feelings of the pain and anguish she endured. The title of her first book is A Voice That Has Spoken From Within.

April 6, 2005, Marie was asked by Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center (SCSAC) and GNESA to speak at the “Walk in My Shoes” Event, On the State Capitol steps, Washington Street Atlanta, Ga.
April 12, 2005 at McCurry Park in GA, Marie helped in the ceremony of planting an oak tree in honor of all who have endured sexual assault. The oak tree represents an ever-growing strength and beauty with each passing year, like the survivor each year they become stronger and find the beauty within themselves.
April 16, 2005 Marie had a book signing from 2pm to 4pm at the Clayton County Library in Jonesboro, GA.
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and the Fulton County District Attorney's office co-hosted the NOVA conference August 7-12 in Atlanta 2005. The state of Georgia hosted the NOVA (National Organization for Victim Assistance) 2005 conference and asked Marie Waldrep to be a presenter on August 9, 2005 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Marie’s speech went really well.
Marie’s tireless behind the scenes efforts have helped developed and sustain The Silver Braid Survivors of Sexual Exploitation Network Message Board. Marie maintains the internet outreach for the Anne Bissell myspace page, Operation Silver Braid myspace page, Sexual Abuse Survivors In Recovery Anonymous myspace page, Anne Bissell’s YouTube page, and the Silver Braid Survivors online yahoo support group. Marie has taken a full hands-on approach in reaching out to countless women and girls, and even sometimes male survivors.

Marie has been doing online outreach for 10+ years, helping victims and/or survivors of incest, sexual assault, and other forms of abuse. She started the outreach when she started in her own healing from childhood sexual abuse. When she created her website The Might Phoenix she had no idea of the emails of other survivors like herself needing help and reaching out to her. Marie being a very compassionate person for those hurting reached back out and started finding resources for those in need of counseling, support group or crisis help and would look up help for them and email it back to them.
Marie is a born again Christian and has a deep passion in helping survivors of all forms of sexual abuse and domestic violence to become overcomers.
Marie's prayer is that all will know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior! He is our true Healer!
